Experienced Web Designer

I’m Samet Ulusoy from Kassel, with a strong background in IT, having worked as an IT specialist for data and process analysis at Volkswagen. Today, I combine this technical expertise with creativity to build smart, modern websites that don’t just look great, but truly perform.

Early Exploration & Self-Taught Foundations
2020 – 2021
My passion for technology started with a hands-on interest in hardware components, system building, and the inner workings of modern computers.
During this time, I also began experimenting with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, gaining first insights into UI/UX and digital user experiences.
Deeper Dive into Systems & Online Business
2021 – 2024
This phase marked the transition from curiosity to application: I launched and managed small online stores, optimized digital workflows, and explored how front-end elements impact customer engagement.
It became clear that my strength lies in merging technical knowledge with design intuition.
Web Design with a Technical Edge
2024 - now
In 2024, I began my apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for Data and Process Analysis at Volkswagen – one of the largest industrial sites in Germany. While I gained foundational knowledge in network systems, databases, and data structures, it was the creative and technical aspects of web design and development that truly captured my focus.
Since then, I’ve specialized in building responsive, user-centered websites using Figma, Webflow, and custom HTML/CSS structures. I combine clean visual design with performance-driven development to deliver fast, reliable, and elegant digital experiences.
Looking ahead, I’m committed to pushing boundaries in modern web design – blending aesthetics with usability, and always staying one step ahead in the digital landscape.

With Figma, I design the blueprint and layout of websites—from wireframes to final interfaces—allowing me to create precise and flexible designs.

What do you need from me to get started?
A general idea of your goals, any existing content (like text, images, or a logo), and your feedback during key stages. I’ll handle the rest..
How long does a project usually take?
Depending on the scope, most projects take between 1 to 2 weeks. You’ll receive a detailed timeline before we begin
Can you help with content or branding too?
Yes, I can support you with layout suggestions, basic copy structure, and visual branding direction. For in-depth content, I also work with trusted partners.
Do you offer SEO optimization?
Yes. I implement technical on-page SEO best practices like clean structure, proper tags, fast loading times, and mobile optimization.
Will I be able to update the website myself later?
Yes. I structure all websites so you can easily make basic updates yourself – like changing texts or images. In addition, I offer free updates and small adjustments for the first 3 months after launch. After that, I’m still available for changes and ongoing support at a fair additional cost, depending on the scope.
How much does a website cost?
Prices depend on scope and features. I offer clear, fixed pricing after the initial consultation — no hidden costs.
How do you handle data privacy and security?
All websites I build follow modern security standards, including SSL encryption and secure hosting. I ensure GDPR compliance for EU-based clients, including cookie banners, privacy policies, and proper data handling. For projects outside the EU, I align with the applicable local privacy regulations to keep both your data and your users’ data safe and compliant.
